Who We Are
Ms. Thrasher’s expertise in multi-party conflicts and law combined with her experience in helping people create long-term resolutions of their disputes lead her to believe that her mediation practice and style is suitable for people who have a greater interest in a reaching a satisfactory resolution than fighting to win a dispute. Her perspective of mediation comes from a combination of her education and work as an attorney, the completion of nearly 1,000 mediations, and her personal experiences as a divorced parent.
What We Do
Ms. Thrasher’s professional mediation and alternative dispute resolution services include divorce, custody, parenting time, eldercare, and civil mediations. Her services are affordable, efficient, effective, respectful, and impartial. Ms. Thrasher understands that every mediation is unique and believes that all participants deserve a fair process.
About Ann Thrasher
Ann Thrasher is a registered Domestic Relations Mediator in Indiana and an attorney. Ann graduated magna cum laude from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2001. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Indiana University in Bloomington in 1993.
Starting in August of 2001, Ann clerked for Judge Paul Mathias at the Indiana Court of Appeals. In early 2003, Ann began working in the business litigation group at Ice Miller, LLP in Indianapolis. After her full-time position with Ice Miller, she continued to work for Ice Miller on a temporary basis until 2012. From 2007 until 2015, Ann taught legal writing at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
Ann implemented a mortgage foreclosure settlement conference program in Boone County, Indiana, and facilitated many foreclosure matters in that program. Ann has been mediating court-sanctioned domestic relations and private domestic relations matters since February of 2011. In January 2015, Ann took a position as Alternative Dispute Resolution Program Administrator and Mediator for the Hendricks County, Indiana courts. She is also a registered assistant mediation trainer. Ann is passionate about the benefits of mediation, especially in domestic relations matters. As of mid-2022, she has conducted well over 1,000 mediations and facilitations.
Ann is currently on the Planning Committee for Indiana AFCC. Ann is the Past President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Board Member of the Indiana Association of Mediators, www.mediation-indiana.org, and is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, Boone County Bar Association, and the Hendricks County Bar Association.
